General
- Fractured Equines is a semi realistic, post apocalyptic wild horse roleplay. So no equine will have ever met or seen a human, as they have been extinct for decades now.
- FE is open to every level of roleplayer. There is, however, a 200 word limit per in character post. This is simple enough to achieve, and even novice roleplayers should be able to reach the limit with no problem. If you do have a problem, however, then feel free to ask a staff member and we would be glad to tutor you!
- Please remember to be kind and courteous. Treat others as you would wish to be treated. I am hoping to make this a very fun place, free of drama and fighting but I need your help to achieve that goal! So remember the golden rule.
- Going off of the rule above, no hate speech, flaming, cursing at, or just talking bad about any of the members. If there is a problem then please bring it to a staff members attention and it will be dealt with asap.
- One account per person. You may have as many characters as you wish per account, however.
- Once the site is established and more active, there will be an activity check every two months and members who have not posted in that time frame without telling us that they will be away will be deleted.

Character Creation & Images
- Before creating a character, be sure to read through all of the rules.
- When creating a character, please follow the provided form. You may edit it slightly as long as all of the required information is there.
- Your character must be approved before you can roleplay it
- You may not create a pregnant mare. You may, however, create a mare and a foal pair but you must fill out the form individually for each character.
- Any non extinct breed of equine is allowed, this does include zebras and donkeys.
- When creating a character, make sure you follow the breed standards. You may, however, purchase a different color or a different height that would not naturally occur in the breed from the store.
- We only allow images that are stock or CC Licensed to be sued to avoid getting into legal trouble. If you do not know how to find stock or CC Licensed images then feel free to ask and a staff member will assist you.
- You may not use an image that you took or one that is of your own horse unless it is listed as stock or CC Licensed, since I have no way of proving if it really is an image that belongs to you otherwise.
- All images must link back to the original image with the credits.
- Images may only be uploaded through flickr.com or deviantart.com
- No cannibalistic or vampire characters.

Stealing, Challenging & Fighting
- A steal is when a high ranking herd member posts a riddle in the stealing board in an attempt to steal a character from another herd.
- Any character may be stolen, of any age or gender. But if a nursing foal is stolen then the mother must accompany them or the character doing the steal must have a way for the foal to nurse.
- A steal should consist of no less than four hints within a riddle.
- Only a herd member ranked beta or higher within a herd may block.
- A steal is not forever, the stolen equine may return home once the terms of the steal have come to pass.
- If a steal is successful, a high ranking herd member may challenge for the immediate return of the stolen equine. If they win, the herd that was stolen from is immune to steals for three weeks. If the counter challenger loses, however, then the stolen equine must go with whomever stole them until they meet the terms of the steal.
- Individuals may make terms or agreements of the return of a stolen equine without it having to come to a challenge or a fight.
- Any equine over the age of three years may challenge for a herd.
- Once the challenger has posted the challenge and the terms of the fight, it may be taken to The Canyon where they will duke it out.
- If a challenge is posted, the owner of the land must respond within one week or the challenger wins by default.
- When challenging, make sure that the owner of the land has not posted in the 'Going Away' board. If they have posted that they will be gone then the challenge is invalid.
- You may purchase immunity from both steals and challenges from the store.
- You must include the fighting form with each reply to show the health of the character, the damage they have received, etc.

Breeding & Birthing - Absolutely no graphic breeding or birthing, it is against proboards TOS.
- When it comes to breeding, you may not go into detail. It would be best if you sort of just "blacked" out over the actual deed and then resumed your post like normal.
- Donor mares/stallions are allowed, but please do not abuse this or this feature will be taken away.
- When you are ready for your character to have the foal, make sure to post the parent stats in the 'New Life' board. You must follow the provided form.
- You may age your foal up right away or keep them as a foal for awhile.
- Since liquid time is allowed, you do not have to age the parents every time you age the foal. You can to keep confusion down, but you are not required to. This does mean that your foal might end up being older than the parents though.
- When posting the parents stats, each individual parent must post their character stats individually.
- Only an approved staff member can make the foal stats. When doing so, follow the foal creation form.
- Staff members may not create their own foal stats.
- Twins are possible, but they must be purchased from the store first.
- If you have any store purchase you would like to apply to your foal, make sure you include a link to the store purchase when posting the parent stats.
- Donkey's and Zebra's may breed with other equines or each other.
- If a Donkey breeds with another equine, the offspring will be sterile unless you purchase fertility from the store. Be sure to include this purchase in your form when posting the parent stats.

Lands
- Only one main land per person. As of right now, there is only six lands, so there can only be six main land owners.
- You must post a 200+ word post when claiming a land. Be sure to include the land name and description, as well as the name of the lead stallion and|or lead mare.
- You may request to have a sub herd within a herd, however. To do so, make sure it is okay with the main land owner and then send your herd name and description to a staff member. No claiming posts are required for sub herds.
- Any equine over the age of three may claim a land.
- Immunity from challenges may be purchased from the store, these are good for three months at a time. When an immunity is purchased, a staff member will update the land description and put that at the top.
- Only main lands may be challenged for. Sub herds may not. However, if the main land switches hands then the new land owner may decide whether or not they want the sub herd to stay or go.
- Each main land may have no more than three sub herds.
- More main lands may be added at a later time if they are needed.

Elementals
- Elementals are equines with the power of either fire, water, earth, or air.
- Only one elemental per person is allowed, excluding children born from your character which you may keep, as they are to be a rarity through the site. Each elemental equine may have two powers.
- You can only acquire an elemental character by purchasing one from the store. Once you have bought an elemental ability, you may choose to apply it to a character you already play or you may make a new character to apply it to.
- Elementals may breed with a normal equine, or any other elemental equine. If your elemental breeds with a normal equine then powers will only be passed down to the foal if the genetic pass down is purchased. If the genetic pass down is purchased your foal will inherit the same powers as the parent. If both parents are elementals and both characters have purchased the pass down, the foal will receive all four of the parents powers.
- Elemental equines may only breed and produce children three times before they become sterile.
