Upon first entering Elysian Fields, you might think there is nothing here but a barren wasteland. The land starts out rough and rocky, the ground hard as a rock and virtually no water or edible food. But if you venture far enough into the land then you will find a narrow path between the towering cliffs on either side. There is a slight hill, and if you climb the hill then you will see a valley beneath you that is green as far as the eye can see, with fresh water and many trees scattered throughout the land. There is enough food here to sustain even the largest herds. There is only one way in and out of valley, the rest of the land is surrounded by a rock wall. There is, however, a hidden path among the rock wall that leads to a shelf sticking out slightly from the rest of the wall where Thanatos often goes to keep an eye on the herd beneath him. There is also many caves along the bottom of the rock wall, nestled in the back of the valley. The herd seeks refuge in the caves during bad weather, it is often where Thanatos takes the herd mares when they are ready to give birth so that they safe in a safe and warm environment.

Fallen's.
Encircled by a vast rapid-flowing river there is only one entrance into Grimvorne - through a secluded rock wall pathway leading past the plummeting waters. Bones lay strewn through the entry route, warning unwelcomed intruders. Upon arriving within the land you’ll see a lush open field with grass nearly reaching your knees. Apple trees and large alder trees are scattered among the providence, providing extra food and shelter. The terrain itself appears almost heavenly, however it’s not uncommon to find body parts of mutilated offenders dispersed through the property or hanging from tree limbs. All the way in the back of the acreage is a large cave which holds over several different chambers. In the very center of the cavern directly as you come in is the meeting hall and throne room where you’ll often find the King and Queen residing. To the right of this is the King and Queen’s personal nook which is never to be entered. Past the meeting hall are the other six rooms, five of which may be used openly by herd members, and the more sizable one furthest in the back is where slaves are held captive.

These lands are covered in water and sand more than anything, but there are meadows. The meadows are there for sleeping and for during the winter. These meadows are lush and green for as far as the eye can see. There are trees that are right next to the sand that starts the ocean. These trees provide shade and cover during the winter and summer. The sandy beach is soft to the hoof and the when you stand on the sand, you can feel yourself sink a few inches into the sand. When you walk forward a few yards, there is the moist sand from the high tides at night. This sand clumps under your hooves but they leave water under your hooves. The water directly in front of you, is warm during the summer, and freezing during the winter. This water is salty, and not good to drink, but if you walk to the right until you meet the meadows, there is a small river that holds good drinking water. At night, you can see the constellations in the sky, and you can see the many different stars.

A wide expanse of lush sweet meadow grass, kissed with vibrant wildflowers during the warmer months, nestles between a small forest of poplar and maple trees and an enormous man-made lake. White sand decorates the lake's shore, stretching well up the beach. Water fowl frequent the area, as do peaceful grazers such as deer and the occasional flock of sheep. With this healthy, peaceful land so rich in resources, there is enough to sustain a sizable herd and then some. When snow falls and ice blankets the lapping shore, a determined equine will need to scrape away the snow to get to the frozen grasses under. During the worst cold snaps, however, the tender meadow loses most of it's nutrition and forces the beasts who roam here to rip the prickly needles off the few scattered pine and spruce trees in the surrounding forest. In the heart of the meadow, there is a hill that is surrounded by thick gorse and brambles where new mothers can take shelter with their foals. The nursery area is defensible enough to keep the weaker members of the herd safe from attack. This meadow, and the lake and forest tying it together in a neat little package, is jealously guarded by a mare who calls herself Queen.
